Fluid Applied Reinforced Roofing Systems

Fluid Applied Reinforced Roofing….

A membrane that is installed "in place" using highly durable, water based, waterproofing compounds reinforced with tough polyester fabrics and surfaced with energy saving reflective coatings.  Once installed the seamless monolithic system is tough, flexible and resistant to the extremes of nature.  We use Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.), Factory Mutual (FM Global) and independent testing labs to continually test our Systems and Products to be sure they meet the stringent requirements of today’s building industry.  Our systems are designed to be installed directly over existing roof systems or as a new membrane on new construction.

Increased awareness of the benefits of cool roofs has sparked interest with building owners in the past several years. More importantly, with the passing of Title 24 Energy Efficiency Building Standards in California and the financial incentives given by the utilities companies, “cool” roofing is now the fastest growing sector in the roofing industry. But meeting the standards for “cool” roofing can be a confusing endeavor. At no cost to you, we'd be happy to send a qualified agent to inspect your roof and prepare a specification designed to address your roofing needs.

We stand out from
the competition:

  • 40+ year track record – a veteran in our industry; we have the expertise and the experience.
  • Water based systems mean every part of the installation process is non-toxic and harmless to the environment. No toxic fumes or fire hazard.
  • Fluid applied results in a seamless finish making future inspections and maintenance easy. It also means the roof can be resurfaced, thereby extending the life of the roof indefinitely.
  • Systems can be applied over BUR, Modified Bitumen, Single Ply, Metal Roofing, Sprayed Polyurethane Foam and Gravel.
  • Many of our systems have received UL Class A ratings. "Class A" roof assemblies have the greatest fire resistance. Additionally, many of our systems have also received Factory Mutual 4470 Class 1 approval. To achieve this designation, the system is subjected to strenuous testing for fire, hail damage, water leakage, and resistance to foot traffic.
  • Field support – if needed, our representative will be on-site to assist the contractor and answer any questions.
  • Bulk shipping – we have the largest fleet of tankers in the Western United States;
